The Programs in 护理 require that students complete clinical rotations, 实地考察, and/or teaching assignments at facilities external to the university. Depending on the program or course, such facilities will or may require a criminal background check, an Act 33/34 clearance (if applicable), and perhaps a drug screen to determine participant qualification or eligibility. 另外, 获得执照, many states will inquire as to whether the applicant has been convicted of a misdemeanor, 重罪, or a felonious or illegal act associated with alcohol and/or substance abuse.
With a student-faculty ratio of 10:1, our nursing students take an active part in the learning process.
The curriculum offers numerous opportunities for practical hands-on experiences, with clinical instruction provided at a variety of local and surrounding clinical agencies affiliating with the nursing program.

The graduate of the Associate 护理 (ASN) program will:
- Utilize the nursing process as a basis for decision-making in the provision of safe, 整体, quality client-centered care to meet the needs of diverse clients across the lifespan.
- Apply the concepts/theories assimilated from natural, 社会科学, nursing and nursing research in the planning, 优先级, 以及提供护理, teaching and health promotion for diverse clients utilizing clinical data and literature to support decisions and evaluate outcomes of care.
